Our research has enabled us to conceptualise products with implications in the following areas: propulsion, wind and wave turbines, and the production of new industrial parts.
The CARPYZ THRE wheel unites for the first time in the same wheel, a Turbo, a Propeller and a circular Reactor , which can be supplied with energetic fluids: Compressed Air, Propane, Kerosene, Hydrogen...
The THRE wheel CARPYZ sucks up air from the front in the centre of the wheel, in the middle at the entrance of the propeller blades, and leads it through the blades, which are hollow from end to end, to a peripheral chamber that surrounds the wheel, and which by turning it discharges it towards the rear of the wheel through a circular slot.
The air is projected onto the boundary layers located nearby all around the impeller and by reaction produces a significant axial thrust all around the impeller added to that of the remaining propeller. An energetic fluid conducted from the centre of the impeller to the periphery can amplify the axial thrust.
If you place 4 THRE wheels CARPYZ with a diameter of one metre at the 4 corners of a cabin like drones, it is then possible to lift up to 3 tonnes and have your vehicle take off vertically. Then by rotating the THRA wheels horizontally and spreading wings on the sides of the cabin, it is possible to make your vehicle travel like an aeroplane with propellers.
The Carpyz Turbine is inspired by the principle of Pelton turbines. Here the fluid enters, as in a wind sock, into a fixed conduit provided with channels, which lead it backwards by rotating it all around the turbine axis. The fluid then strikes buckets placed one after the other around a wheel which they rotate.
Among other things the Turbine Carpyz can be used as power generator, hydro or wind turbine.
In the latter case, the whole wind flow is used, which allows for high efficiency and therefore high power with small dimensions.
The very solid honeycomb construction allows to resist to strong winds and therefore allows, contrary to some current wind turbines, to recover energy when there is a lot of it and when we need it the most.
The assembly can be surrounded by a skirt that flares backwards, which increases the pressure differential between front and rear and further improves efficiency and performance.
The Turbine Carpyz starts with very low winds. For the same power, due to their smaller dimensions, these turbines can also be fitted with animal protection at the entrance, thus respecting the environment.
The Turbine Carpyz can be used with steam as a power generator, in fossil fuel or nuclear power plants.
The Carpyz Booster first uses a Carpyz THRE wheel driven by an electric motor and whose turbocharger delivers air at its periphery at the rear. It continues in a fixed circular chamber provided with spiral spacers that confirm its rotation.
The air continues its trajectory in a second fixed chamber fed with an energetic fluid which then becomes a combustion chamber. A new fixed chamber with spiral spacers rotates the fire torch. It then pushes the buckets of a wheel placed on the large diameter of another propeller which adds its flow to the chamber located at the entrance of the booster.
The centre of the bucket wheel propeller blades is mounted on a shaft which drives an electric generator. This shaft can be rotationally fixed to the motor shaft of the THRE wheel.
The new, highly innovative additive industrial circular machines by Carpyz allow the much faster 3D production of round industrial parts of all diameters by solidifying material layer by layer.
These machines are equipped with several successive stations on the surface of the circle which allow on the one hand to continuously control the temperature and quality of the products on each layer and on the other hand it is also possible to make layers of different products.
These new Carpyz circular machines will allow to obtain important reductions of the manufacturing times, because several stations can work simultaneously and therefore will allow to obtain important reductions of the prices of the produced parts, which moreover are not limited in dimensions, contrary to the existing laser powder sintering machines currently in use.
These Carpyz machines are going to experience an important development at the global level, because new one-piece circular products of complex shapes, previously unconstructible, will be created and concern many industrial, design or other applications. . .
For example the fans (large propellers at the entrance of aircraft engines) can be built in one piece.

Carpyz is a member of the ASTech Paris Region competitiveness cluster.
The ASTech Paris Region aerospace competitiveness cluster is located in Île-de-France, (France's main employment catchment area in the fields of aerospace and on-board systems). It involves over 100,000 individuals.
Its aim is to grow the positions of European industry market leaders in the aerospace launch, business aviation, propulsion and equipment sectors in Île-de-France through innovation
The research began more than sixty years ago. Little by little, prototypes were designed and tested.
The first prototypes are manufactured by chip removal, seeking to improve existing products.
Subsequently, research evolved into the creation and construction of new products.
CARPYZ computer tools offer new possibilities to design, manufacture and develop new products in fluid mechanics.
